Wick Trimming

A good practice is to make sure to trim the wick(s) before or after each burn. This helps to maintain the quality of your candles.

Wick trimmers, scissors or any tool used to cut small items will do. The ideal height to trim the wick before each burn is to 1/4.

Trimmed wicks create a clean controlled burn with less smoke and residue. Trimmed wicks also reduce the chance of the flame starting a fire.
